Some great news!

 Fry and Shirli told us this week that they are expecting. We sat down after Eitan's bday party and they told us. Could not be happier for those two. 

A surprise from the Lions

 A couple months ago,  I sent my friend Elliot the SVP at Detroit Lions a WHatsapp with a picture of our new Meitali. He loved it, and said he was very jealous because he is no longer at a baby having stage. 9 days later, he messaged me asking for a Detroit address. Unclear on why, of course I gave him Y and D's. A few weeks later, he texts me "wow your family as nice". Ok, the fact that the SVP Finance of the DETROIT LIONS hand delivered a package to me is crazy, and will always be. 

My parents finally came back from the States the other night and brought the package. They are a pair of signed, game-worn cleats by one of my favorite 3 Lions, Penei Sewell. As in, the first draft pick this amazing regime made. As in, one of the best OTs in the league. As in, the receiver in one of my favorite all-time football plays that happened last year, which when happened I let a sound out of my voice that I am not quite sure how to describe. 

And here is the crazy part. The cleats are the ones he was wearing during that play. There is still Ford Field turf stuck to the bottom. 

Could not be more in love with the Lions right now.
