So, apparently COVID is back. I know because Shifra got it. Similar to last time, once I and Hadar tested negative, we decided to separate the healthy cows from the unhealthy cows, and so Shifra went to her parents. Haven't seen her since Friday morning, and neither have the kids. The kids by the way, are amazing. They are so big and well behaved. They do miss her though. And Meital just tested positive yesterday as well. I can't believe the reality of this virus means that the smart thing is to not be in the same living space as each other. I will be watching RedZone tonight of week 1 (calmly, and just because the Lions already played KC in the opener) and thinking of her. She is certainly feeling better now than on Friday. I'm just doing my best to balance work, processes, and single parenting for both kids.

My Baby Sister is Married
So thats it. We are 3/3, all in Modiin. 2 in Buchman. Total of 8 years of dating. And we are family with the Engelharts, who we really love a ton.
The wedding was beautiful.
Highlight 1: Getting to sing with Fry (under the Chuppah!) as the Chattan and Kallah walked down the aisle.
Highlight 2: The amazing Mezinka we did, starting with Fox NFL Sunday, and ending with the Git Up. So special for my parents, and I know they loved it. They deserve all the happiness, they did an amazing job raising us, and continue to be there for us always and whenever.
Highlight 3: all the shtick going on at that wedding, with lots of Lions and Bears stuff. Loved having Shifra's stuffed Lion beating up my Teddy Bear while they were sitting.
Highlight 4: Hadar sticking out her tongue the whole way down the aisle.
Highlight 5: It was the last Sunday of the year that would have been welcomed to have a wedding on.
It was also an incredibly fun Shabbat Kallah and week before, with lots of time to spend with all the family, especially a lot of folks who flew in special.
And overall, I can't believe my baby sister is married. At least we like the guy.
