London in April - gorgeous

What a lovely time in London. It started weird because of thebwar and uncertainty, and ended up wonderful.
The uber guy who picked me up had some OPINIONS about Iran and Bibi which were fascinating. Stayong at Raachel and Spencer was lovely.
Work was good - office 2 days, MRC for 1 day.
Food was bonkers. Tony page showed my team that kosher can be delicious too, bagel bar grill is in incredible burger with lots of stuff on it, mrc kosher meal was about 19 plates full of food.
Sights were wonderful - I woke up at 6 am each day, did a combined 50k steps, and really got to see the city. From Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, St James Park, regents canal, camden, primrose hill, and so much more.
Was weird to be here for yom hashoah but was glad I was able to go to the memorial and also listen to the Tzfira online. I happened to be near flowers and the old stadium, and it was symbolic to look at the seats and remember the enormity of it. Usually on tzfira I imagine the individuals, but on this occasion, the sheer enormity is what hit me.
Gold status is nice, got thru airport quickly snd sat in the lounge, watched the Tigers walk off.

As always, so thankful to hashem that my work feels I am importsnt enough to travel, thankful to Shifra for holding down the fort at home, thankful to R and S for hosting, and thankful to my company for choosing to fly me out. The in person collab is invaluable.

Now just PRAYING our flights take off in 5 days for our family trip.

war time

Wanted to jot a few notes from the (first part of?) The Iranian war 2026. Overall it seems like it was a good idea, and we are proud of our soldiers and thankful to Hashem but didn't want to forget the hard times.

It was pretty hard for a few reasons.
1. It was scary and thr success rates
2. You had to plan your life around whether you will make it to the shelter within 7 minutes
3. We are in my in laws home which makes it crazy for everyone
4. School and other misgarot are cancelled.

So on the bright side of this cease fire, it looks like we are going to be able to take our much needed family trip to America next week!

cease fire?

Well after a wild 6 weeks, purim. Pesach, and other crazy times, on 7th day of oesach we learned there was a cease fire. The kids were thrilled to go back to misgarot, and I was thrilled to go back to work . Lets see how long it lasts!

A Topsy Turvy Kinda Day

As we still are waiting to enter our apartment in Ganei (24 months late), the question of what to do with the kids next year is on our mind...
