Forced

Isolation, we are officially here.

Nowhere to hide, and that gives me fear,

We can’t continue avoiding each other,

It’s crazy to think we have the same mother,

No more distractions, can’t make an excuse,

It’s probably time we are re-introduced,

My name is Daniel, I have where to grow,

Mirror, oh mirror, you already know.

The Cobblestones

The street I grew up on, Is no longer the same,

The only familiar, Is its Menashe name,

Dust has been rising, The cobblestones desecrated,

No kids outside, The neighborhood desolated,

This virus has hit us, No one knows why,

And if you listen closely, You can hear the cobblestones cry.

A Topsy Turvy Kinda Day

As we still are waiting to enter our apartment in Ganei (24 months late), the question of what to do with the kids next year is on our mind...
