Another huge win - what world is this?

 When Amon-Ra caught the 4th quarter touchdown, I got up on the couch and started jumping. I high fived my dad, uncle, cousins, and friends who were at the party. But when Barnes caught the game sealing pick, I did not immediately react. It was hard to believe that the Lions won, that there were no flags etc, and that we were going to the NFC Championship. But once a second passed, I got up and started jumping. 

What a fun memory that the Lions gave us, at 130 in the morning, that who knew we would ever get.

Gosh, do I love this team. 

And now the Lions are 60 minutes away from the Super Bowl. 

They did it!

 They actually did it. For the first time in my life, the Detroit Lions have won a playoff game. And it feels amazing. 

I woke up at 1 to watch the end of the Packers-Cowboys with Ari, but he left early due to it being a blowout. During the entire Lions game, I couldn't breathe properly, but it was so exciting. I stood for most of the 4th quarter, jumping around when Goff completed the final pass to Saint to end it.

It was a legendary game, with storylines up the wazoo. But we actually beat Stafford, and asserted Jared goff as our QB. Campbell did what he said he would, and had a wonderful day coaching. The draft picks from Holmes are panning out. 

I am so excited to be in this era of Lions football, that my dad had long thought impossible. Was a little bummed we couldn't watch this one together, but am excited to watch the next one. 

I imagine I will be watching these highlights on YouTube for the next 45 years or so.

Happy New Years from Hamas

 Their gift to us was waking up our kids in the first minute of the new year so we could run to the bomb shelter. Luckily they went back to sleep right after. Eitan was pissed 3 minutes in, he asked if he could go back to bed yet.
