Citizens Trip Pushed!

 Once Shifra decided she wasn't going back to school after official mat leave, I realized we now had an option to move our trip back. Problem was, it is hard to do (took them 4 days of me refreshing my inbox every 10 minutes, and sending 5 emails).

But the Adina Shabbat ended, and we saw that they had responded on friday. 

We were supposed to go in 25 days. Why change?

• Iranian flight uncertainty
• Better weather - and much more open
• baseball day game
• not right after Purim
• Better work wise
• Better school year wise
• Potentially Ayelet bat mitzvah festivities

SO now we are going end april to early may, for almost 2 weeks. Super duper excited!

Our kids though

 Hadar had a birthday party today with three friends. She had an amazing time, her 3 friends are great. But there was something that made me so proud of her. 

Eitan came to sit with them and then one of the girls said "We don't like boys, they are ichsa". 

And Hadar looked her straight in the eye and said "I love him, he is my brother". 

And in the words of Dumbledore, it takes great courage to stand up to our enemies. But even greater courage to stand up to our friends. Not surprising, because Hadar is a strong personality that stands up for what she believes in for better and worse, but still heart melting to watch.
