As always when someone I know passes away, I try to find tangible things that I can keep forever, showing that I knew this person and had a relationship with them. Here is an email he sent us before our wedding:

Daniel and Shifra,

We want to wish you and all your mishpachas  (that’s WV slang for family) a hearty

Mazel Tov. Just cannot apologize enough for not being with you to  celebrate such a

Glorious wedding . I feel so glad to have met Shifra recently and JoEllen, Elizabeth and I look

Forward to watching  via Facebook.

Sending  you all our love,

Ben, JoEllen and Elizabeth
