So for many nights out of the last 7, we have been woken up in the wee hours of the morning (between 3-4) by houthi misile sirens from Yemen. Very annoying. But TG for the most part, we go back to sleep after the ten minutes, including all kids, and most nights Meital sleeps through it. It used to be that we ran into their room to get them, I took Eitan while Shifra took Hadar, but now they are very capable of getting there themselves. But my big two have a funny key differences during sirens, day or night. The second the siren starts, Hadar bolts to the room. She takes off like a cannon. She will elbow and push her way through to make sure she gets there in the most direct way. Very mission focused. Eitan on the other hand, is a classic oldest. He will wait and make sure everyone is coming with him before he goes through. Love all three of them and wish them lives without too many of these sirens.
