Family Shabbat

We had a wonderful extended Zacks shabbat in Tiveria this week. It was so fun to hang out with everyone, and it was our first real road trip in the minivan (Zaxi Taxi).

We drove up early and went to Kiryat Shmona, just the 6 of us. The kids love it, and we love it. We went to learn at the Yeshiva, said hi to Sigi, went to Park Hazahav, played soccer there, and went to newly refurbished Achim Maman. It was amazing to be back, he remembered me, and the food was incredible. More important than the food was the love - they made special food for Hadar even though they don't usually. From there, we drove to a supermarket in Tiveria where we found fry in the parking lot, bought meat for the BBQ, and went to the villa. We sorted ourselves out, and started grilling. The grilling was around a 4 hour ordeal, everyone made the food they brought and ended up sharing. The Lions game was disappointing but fun to watch with everyone. After the game, I went with the big boys (Jo, Sam, Sho, Shi) to the pool where we swam and then played football in there.

Also Noms announced pregnancy with shirts that she organized which was cool, so happy for her.

Next morning was the Olympics, that me and Shev organized. There was good participation, and it was very fun (games like races, word searches, throwing accuracy). They were cheering each other on, and it was great vibes.

Then we did some coloring and stickers, made sandwiches for lunch, and chilled.

Shabbat was amazing, lots of hanging out, games, pool, soccer, great food. Our kids were great and very much connecting with the cousins and aunts and uncles - so fun to watch. Davening was great, I gabbai'd. Kabbalat Shabbat I led and of course did Country Road - which was much quicker joined into than when I did it in shul.

Shi drove back with Motzash and it was a fun ride.
